Therapy
Psychological therapy for children, adolescents and families - anxiety, low mood, big feelings and emotional regulation, school refusal, friendships, family change, and adjusting after a diagnosis.
Sessions are in our consulting rooms or by telehealth anywhere in Australia. Medicare rebates may be available with a referral from your GP, and therapy can be funded through an NDIS plan.
Assessments
We assess for autism and ADHD - separately or together - for children, teenagers and adults. Every assessment includes a comprehensive written report and a feedback session to go through what it says and what to do first. You don't need a referral to get started.

From your first enquiry
You get in touch. Tell us briefly what you're noticing. You don't need a referral, and you don't need to have worked out which assessment you're after or if therapy is the way forward.
We talk it through. We'll call you to work out what actually fits - including telling you if we don't think we are the right next step.
We book and begin. A first appointment is usually available within one to two weeks.
About Dr Halaina Winter
Dr Halaina Winter is a Clinical Psychologist with a PhD in Psychology. She assesses and treats children, adolescents and adults, and works with families across the Northern Beaches, the Lower North Shore and by Telehealth Australia-wide.
Every assessment at this practice is conducted by Dr Winter personally - the first conversation, the assessment appointments, the report and the feedback session. Families are not passed between clinicians, and the person a referrer sends a family to is the person that family sees.
